Reiki
Reiki can help relax you, aids the body’s healing process, and enhances your mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
Reiki is a Japanese healing art. The term Reiki originates in the Japanese term (Rei), which translates to “Universal Life,” and (Ki), which is “Energy.” Reiki is not associated with any particular faith or religion. It is not massage, nor are they based upon faith or advice. Instead, this is an incredibly subtle, efficient method of working with energy with spiritually guided life force energy.
Reiki is the energy of life that circulates through every living thing. Reiki Healing Practitioners recognize that every person can connect to their personal healing energy and use it to boost energy within their own bodies and help others. There is a belief that one’s “ki” or energy should be free and flowing. If this is the case, the person’s mind and body are in a state of well-being. However, if the energy is weak or blocked, it can cause emotional or physical imbalance.
The practice of Reiki is a holistic practice that aims to balance all the aspects of the patient’s mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical. While it’s not an alternative to traditional medical treatments, Reiki can be the perfect complement. In fact, it has been demonstrated by numerous studies to increase the efficacy of traditional western therapies.
